Terms and Conditions - Delivery Information

DELIVERY

The Coffee Apple is a small family owned and operated family business based in Ringwood East Victoria and we work hard ensure you receive your goods as quickly as possible. We use a range of both local and national distributors that best suit the location to which we are delivering.

All our delivery charges include shipping, handling and packaging costs.

Standard postage is currently $10.95 right across Australia, excluding Bulky items and COMBINED Christmas Orders. 

CUSTOMERS may wish to place COMBINED CHRISTMAS ORDERS. These orders will held in our store room until we are notified by the customer that they would like their order shipped... at this stage their orders will be combined and total shipping will be calculated based on the size, weight and delivery location.  Customers will receive a separate shipping invoice prior to dispatch and the $4.00 amount for each order will be allocated towards the final shipping invoice. Upon receipt of each COMBINED CHRISTMAS ORDER our customers will receive a text message asking if they are ready for their combined orders to be shipped. 

Express postage options are also available and will vary in cost depending upon the price of the order. 

How do I know if it’s a Bulky Item? It will say the postage estimate for these items in bold in the product description page. We will contact you with the correct amount of shipping for these items if they exceed what you have already paid. You will then have the option to proceed or cancel this order.

Extra charges will also apply to large orders that require an express post.  We will contact you with the amount of additional shipping required.

Our prices do not include transport insurance or any secondary attempts to deliver ordered products to you.

 

PROCESSING OF ORDERS

We generally process orders within 2 business days... which are Monday to Friday and excluding public holidays in Victoria unless the purchase is a customised order.  If you place an order on a non-business day, we will process the order within 4 business days.

Our aim is to ensure you receive your goods as quickly as possible.

  • Delivery times may vary from time to time and are subject to variation due to unforeseen road conditions or inclement weather.
  • Some far and remote country locations have extended shipping times.
  • Peak times may incur a delay
  • Extended delivery times may apply to oversized items

Australia Post and Sendle does not include insurance. Please contact us if you require insurance so we can discuss options and any additional costs.

PURCHASES

Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address and delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, The Coffee Apple is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our own expense.  You may be required to provide additional details upon our request to ensure the accuracy of your order.

TRACKING ORDERS

Once we have processed and sent your order, you will receive a tracking number. You can then track your order via the Australia Post or Sendle website.

Please note that during the busy Christmas period your order may take slightly longer to dispatch.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

The Coffee Apple may cancel your order if for any reason we are unable to provide you with the Products subject to your order. We will contact you as soon as possible should this occur.

You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation.

PRODUCTS MISSING FROM AN ORDER

Should a product be missing from an order, please contact us at thecoffeeapple@gmail.com with the order number and the product name and we will investigate accordingly.

DAMAGED ORDER DURING TRANSIT

We take great care to wrap them carefully. If however, damage occurs during the delivery process please contact us for a replacement or refund.

RETURNS

There are no refunds unless the product is faulty. 
For exchange or refund products must be returned within 14 days of receipt and in original condition.

Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.

CONSENT

By agreeing to these Purchase & Shipping Terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the The Coffee Apple business, including information relating to products, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message.
