Good news, we now have something which will help make learning to write a little easier.

This writing pad is perfect for helping to teach correct letter sizes.  There are 3 colours to help guide children where to place letters. 

Blue (sky) shows children how high to make letters for example h, f, k reach into the sky.  Grass (green) shows children where letters sit on the line and dirt (brown) shows children how far to bring letters down... for example g, p, q etc all dig down into the dirt.
